  • What is your payment policy for booking an event?
    At Boondocks Barn, we require a non-refundable deposit of 33% of the total rental fee to secure your desired date. Then 50% of the remaining balance is due six months prior to the event. And the final payment is due 60 days before your event. We accept payment via cash, check, or credit card. Any additional fees or or rentals incurred will be billed and must be paid within 30 days of the event. Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancellations once the event has been booked.
  • Do you offer a Wedding or Day-Of-Coordinator?
    Yes, we offer both a Wedding Coordinator and a Day-Of-Coordinator. Our Wedding Coordinator will work with you throughout the planning process to ensure everything runs smoothly on your big day. They will assist with your timeline creation, and coordination of all the details. Our Day-Of-Coordinator will be present on your wedding day to oversee the setup, ensure vendors arrive on time, and make sure everything runs according to plan. This allows you to relax and enjoy your special day without any worry or stress. Contact us to learn more about our coordination services.
  • What is your Vendor Policy?
    At Boondocks Barn, we allow couples to brink in their own vendors. However, for The Ultimate Package, Montgomery Creek Ranch is the catering vendor. For alcohol/bar service, Montgomery Creek Ranch is the vendor. We also have a preferred vendor list available for couples who prefer to choose from a pre-selected group of trusted vendors. Our goal is to ensure that all vendors work together seamlessly to create the perfect wedding day for our couples.
  • Do I need Day of Event Insurance?
    At Boondocks Barn, we require that our clients purchase Day of Event Insurance. This insurance covers unforeseen circumstances that may occur during your wedding day, such as accidents, injuries, and damages. While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and the security of our property, unexpected events can happen. Day of Event Insurance protects you from any financial losses that may arise due to such events. We require that all clients provide proof of Day of Event Insurance before their wedding day.   • Do you have decor I can use?
    Yes, we do! Boondocks Barn offers a wide range of decor items that you can use for your wedding. These items include centerpieces, cheesecloths, lanterns, candles and more. We also have a variety of themed decor options, such as rustic, vintage, and boho-chic. You are welcome to use any of our decor items at an additional cost. However, if you have your own decor that you would like to bring, we are happy to accommodate that as well. Our team will work with you to ensure that your wedding decor is exactly as you envision it.
  • What is the seating capacity of The Event Barn?
    The Event Barn at Boondocks Barn has a maximum seating capacity of 250 guests May - October and 200 guests November - April. This rustic and charming barn provides a perfect setting for any wedding or event with its beautiful wooden beams and spacious interior. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, The Event Barn at Boondocks Barn can accommodate your needs.
  • Can I place a hold on a date?
    Yes! We understand that you may need time to make a decision or finalize plans before booking your wedding at Boondocks Barn. We are happy to place a hold on a date after touring the Venue for up to 48 hours. During this time, we will not book any other events on your requested date. If you decide to proceed with booking, we will require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
  • Can I choose to have either an indoor or outdoor ceremony?
    Yes! Boondocks Barn offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Our outdoor ceremony location features stunning views of the wildflowers and woods We can accommodate up to 250 guests for an outside ceremony. In case of inclement weather, our indoor ceremony space is just as beautiful. Please let us know your preference during the planning process so we can ensure your special day is everything you've dreamed of.
  • Does the venue have heat?
    Yes, Boondocks Barn is equipped with a heating system to ensure the comfort of our guests during the winter months. Our heating system is designed to keep the barn warm and cozy during winter months. And with the indoor wood fireplace, you can rest assured that your guests will be comfortable and happy throughout your entire event.
  • Do I have a rehearsal time?
    Yes, Boondocks Barn offers a one-hour rehearsal time for all of our packages. The Classic, Epic and Ultimate Packages ensure your rehearsal will be the day before your wedding. The Minimalist Package rehearsal will be scheduled according to the availability of the event barn. Rehearsal in important as it allows you and your wedding party to practice the ceremony and familiarize yourselves with the venue. Our team will work with you to determine the best time for your rehearsal and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  • Do you have sound equipment available for use?
    Yes, we do have sound equipment available for use at Boondocks Barn for a additional fee. Our venue includes a sound system with speakers and a microphone that can be used for speeches, toasts, and music. We also have a designated area for a live band or DJ to set up their own equipment. If you have any additional sound equipment needs, please let us know and we can work with you to make arrangements.
  • Are you LGBTQ+ Friendly?
    Yes, Boondocks Barn is an LGBTQ+ friendly wedding venue.
